Great house nice and warm, great pub across the road - The railway Inn. Lovely weather, great relaxing time. Will come back again. Many thanks
We had a wonderful stay at Shore Cottage. Great to go to sleep to the sound of the waves and that is what I miss most, the constant sound of the sea. Lower Largo itself has lots of lovely areas to explore ,with beaches east and west and so deserted. There is also a lovely railway path at the tail end of the village towards Elie that is very beautiful. The road stops and there is no traffic noise, just the calls of the birds and the wind and the waves.
It was somewhat challenging for me to get about and onto the sand and the streets are difficult to negotiate so often I was in pain and exhausted by the end of a day, but the cottage is great as you can enjoy just sitting on the patio or cosied up in the snug, or relaxing on the most comfy settee I have ever sat on, in front of the log fire. The only addition I would suggest is a few bright red geraniums on the patio- but maybe this is not practical as the winds whip up!
Thank you for the lovely memories my son and I now share, we had a long wait to be able to manage away, and I am so glad we picked such a lovely place. Mandy Stuart, September 2016

We have loved staying @ Shore Cottage and we are already planning our next next trip. The cottage is really lovely and well equipped, the kids loved the back and games. So much to do in the local area as well as lots of time pottering about on the beach. Thankyou!

Great stay in Lower Largo - helped by glorious weather. Had to seek out shade in Keils Den a couple of days with our dog, no hardship since it is a peaceful walk - 1 1/2 hoursfor the full walk, and only a few minutes drive from here. Shore Cottage is lovely, great postion and very comfortable. Will certainly be back for a third stay.

We have had another lovely stay at Shore Cottage. Lovely weather with lots of walks collecting nice shells to take home. Lammas Fair was on in St Andrews which we enjoyed visiting a few times. We have visited East Fife for many years - a few recommendations are Balgove far, shop & cafe in St Andrews - great produce and lovely lunch. The Upper Largo Hotel does an excellent steak night every Friday.

Now that we've discovered East Fife and your lovely cottage we can't wait to come back! Loved the bird watching from the snug. After several days exploring the coastline St Andrews and Cupar, we drove to the pretty village of Falkland and found a lovely wooded walk with waterfalls. Shame Falkland Palace can't admit dogs, but Aberdour Castle was extremely dog friendly. Glorious sun this week. PS Good dog biscuits at the Railway Inn
Have enjoyed our week as usual - we came last June. Love this part of the world and visit regularly. We're lucky with the weather too. Again so lovely to be so close to the beach - Barkley enjoyed himself - absolutely loved the beach and the sea. Sorry to leave so will be back!

We have loved our week here especially being so close to the water. Having a glass of wine in the snug watching the high tide is wonderful. Have enjoyed walking at Cambo House, coastal path walks from Elie & West Sands at St Andrews. Toppers Book Shop in St Andrews is amazing - dog friendly and so many books & coffee.
What a lovely cottage ! We had a wonderful week - good weather, fantastic views, a warm welcoming and well equipped cottage We will definitely be booking again!

We have had a wonderful week at Shore Cottage. A fantastic house, very well equipped and stunning views. We loved our evening walks along the beach exploring rockpools. Had some great days in St Andrews on the beach and visiting golf attractions. The deer centre was fab and we also visited Edinburgh for a shopping day. Thanks for the fantastic week, we are definitely planning to return

What a fabulous cottage, so well equipped and lovely welcoming gestures. Thank you so much we have had a really good week. Beautiful area the boys have played some lovely courses. Shame about the weather - so cold but that's out of everyones control and we all had warm outdoor gear with us. PS Crusoe has very food and of course drink & the staff are all so friendly and pleasant. Likewise the Railway, good quiz in Thursday

Another lovely stay at Shore Cottage with wonderful views loved the coastal walk - Crail to St Monans, stopping at the ancient Dreel Tavern . Great food & staff at the Upper Largo and fantastic fun on the quiz night at the railway. Hope to be back again soon. PS Scottish Deer Centre is worth a visit PPS Love the snug

A lovely cottage well equipped lovely views. Watched the Firth of Forth through all the gales and storms but still enjoyed it. We will love to come back
Our stay at Shore Cottage was excellent, beautiful setting and accommodation of a very high standard.
I shall have no reservations about using your company again.
We were very pleased with Shore Cottage, it was very clean and extremely well equipped. Parking can be a bit of a problem as on street parking is limited and the car park is a walk away and a little dark and ’out of the way’. Also for the less mobile the car park would be a problem. The cottage facilities were excellent although some of the decor and paintwork could be doing with a refresh. The cottage is really nicely situated literally on the edge of the sea when it is which was ideal for the kids and the view from the upstairs snug in particular is lovely. We would recommend it for anyone wanting a quiet location which is a good base for exploring a lovely corner of Scotland.
