What people have said about the selected property...
What a lovely place to stay. We are already trying to plan a return visit. The welcome and hospitality were second to none. Although we have visited family in this area several times we still didn't hade the time to visit all the places we wanted to! Thanks Ali
Beautiful position, friendly hosts, wonderful views, everything we needed. the only downside for us, was the bathroom was downstairs from the bedrooms.
We reluctantly returned home yesterday from this beautiful cottage. Outstanding views, decor, amenities, location, and the warmest welcome from such a lovely family. The hot tub is a real bonus, lovely to sit and look at the firth after a day of sightseeing or beach fun. We'll be booking for next year very soon. Aug 2014
From the moment we arrived the whole stay was excellent. Wonderful welcome pack, fresh bread, eggs etc and a nice bottle of Red ! Excellent views, brill hot tub ! Alison was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble ! Could not recommend enough ! Excellent decor... Just book it !! The Howes, April 2014
Bendameer was wonderful! Our entire family loved staying here. The girls had a wonderful time walking down the path to the water. The views are beautiful and we will miss looking out over the water! We will tell our friends back in the US that this is the perfect vacation spot! We hope to be back very soon.

Thanks for a wonderful stay! The cottage is really lovely with everything and more provided. The special touches make this place homely and warm. We visited Elie, St Andrews, Dundee and Edinburgh during our week. We found the Unicorn Friggatte more "real" than the Discovery in Dundee. The Ship Inn at Elie does a good lunch,- the Dungeons in Edinburgh very good for older children (go after 5pm for a better deal), the Art Gallery and Museum at Kirkcaldy very good for a rainy morning.

Easter Bendammer is a lovely place to stay and explore this part of Scotland. Great food nearby and we would recommend "Room with a View" for lunch and beautiful location. Used train to get to Edinburgh and joined English Heritage (prior to visiting) which gave us priority to Castle and other Scottish Heritage properties at reduced price. Better still go to Linlithgow Palace west of Edinburgh for great heritage experience. We also enjoyed the coast!!

We all had a fabulous time at Easter Bendameer. Martin and Wendy loved playing with your children and were so excited about holding "yellow" - a real live chicken! All your personal touches were so thoughtful and much appreciated. We will certainly be recommending your lovely property to friends.

This has been the most fantastic holiday. Fife has so much to offer. The cottage has been wonderful. Alison is one of the best hostesses ever, she is very informative and nothing is too much. I absolutely love the decor and amenities and all the little personal touches. Hope we can come again soon. Thank you.
Thanks very much for the calm and relaxing stay we had at Easter Bendameer. The house is beautiful and the views stunning. The personal touches of eggs and the shortbread were very nice. We hope if we are back the weather might let us use the hot tub.

Easter Bendameer - what a treat The friendliest owners you’ll ever meet From "Yellow and Red" the chickens that lay To children and Baker to join in and play Quality in detail throughout the place Quantity of welcome, Ali’s smiling face Enjoying the luxury of the tub so hot Flowers, fruit & veg what more has it got? There’s homemade jam for breakfast or tea Stunning scenery to enjoy - all for free So a big thank you ’The Stevens’ one and all For making our holiday such a ball!!!
The Edgar family
Ali was extremely welcoming and helpful; she even rushed to the local dry cleaners for us which was unbelievably helpful for my husband on a short trip turnaround! The house is located overlooking the Firth of Forth, the gardens and views are stunning. The house is tastefully decorated with luxurious furnishings. It suited the two of us with teenager very well with it’s proximity by rail into Edinburgh - just 30 mins. If you want proximity to the city but come "home" to views and comfort, this is for you. Thank you ali, husband and family.

We had a nice week at Easter Bendameer. Alison was very friendly and we never had such a welcome with fresh baked bread, fresh baked apple pie and eggs. The family is very lovely. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The view to the sea and to Edinburgh was beautiful. We went to Edinburgh with the train and took a trip around the coast. The week run very fast. We will come back to this lovely cottage if we are again in Scotland

The cottage is very well fitted and decorated. Outside the view towards Edinburgh across the Sea is amazing. Edinburgh is easy to reach by train from aberdour, the village next to the cottage. There are plenty of things to do and see in this area

Great property, amazing host, beautiful landscape and views! No better way to stay in Scotland. What a great location to start your day trips from - famous and not so famous sites, beaches and courses within walking distance or short drive. Can't wait to return and enjoy some fresh eggs on the patio overlooking the firth!
